This Privacy Policy explains how The Makeup Blowout Sale Group ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you shop with us, attend one of our pop-up sale events, or contact us through our website or social media channels.

Information we collect

  • Order and account information — name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and order history, collected when you make a purchase.
  • Event registration information — name and mobile number, when you register for one of our pop-up events.
  • Messages you send us — the content of messages and comments you send to our Facebook Page, Instagram account, or by SMS or email, together with the display name and profile picture your platform provides.
  • Usage information — standard web analytics such as pages viewed and device type.

How we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders.
  • To answer questions you send us, on the same channel you used to contact us.
  • To let you know about upcoming events in your area, where you have asked us to.
  • To improve our products, our events and our website.

Facebook, Instagram and Messenger (Meta Platforms)

We operate a Facebook Page and an Instagram account. When you send our Page a message on Messenger, or comment on one of our posts, we access that message or comment through Meta's official Platform APIs so that a member of our team can read it and reply to you.

  • We use this access only to reply to people who contacted us first. We do not send unsolicited, bulk or promotional messages through Messenger.
  • Replies are written by a member of our staff for the specific person they are answering.
  • The information we receive from Meta — your page-scoped user ID, your display name and profile picture, and the content of your message — is used solely to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation.
  • We do not sell this information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
  • Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

Text messages (SMS)

If you register for an event or opt in to our list, we may send you text messages about upcoming events. You can stop at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the business — payment processing, shipping carriers, our e-commerce platform, and our messaging providers — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep order records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Message threads are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to maintain a service history.

Your rights and how to delete your data

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time.

  • Email: info@makeupblowoutsalegroup.com with the subject line "Data request".
  • Facebook or Instagram: send our Page a message asking us to delete your data, and we will remove the conversation and any associated information we hold.
  • SMS: reply STOP to be removed from our list.

We respond to requests within 30 days. You may also remove our access to your Facebook information at any time from your Facebook settings, under Apps and Websites.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
